Marie Howland's home/library in "The Pines" is gone, but we have what librarians might believe is even better. The library's first catalog! It was used from 1902-1920 and was well annotated, and in fact, there were multiple copies at one time. The Fairhope Industrial Association was the name of the first incarnation of what is now the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation.
